In order to live up to our goal to best meet our customers’ needs and expectations, and in order to gain the greatest possible knowledge of each local area, we have chosen to establish local offices in several places in Denmark and in the rest of Scandinavia.
At this time, we are looking for a shipping enthusiast to join our cruise team in a fixed term position in Stockholm, for the Scandinavian cruise season 2022. We will appoint several fixed-term positions on an ongoing basis, starting in March, April and June, with a duration until August/September 2022.
The business environment is hands-on and involves daily contact with customers, suppliers, local and national authorities, and other business partners. In addition to gaining knowledge of cruise and the cruise industry, you will have the opportunity to develop a broad shipping knowledge by being part of a shipping company with many different business activities.
Main tasks
The operational areas of responsibility vary and are related to coordination, handling, and clearance of arriving cruise ships. Every year Stockholm is visited by more than 300 international cruise ships and our role is to handle everything from ordering freshwater to cooperating with Authorities, such as police, customs and immigrations. This includes being on board the ships, on the pier, and in the office. Interaction with, and service of, customers, as well as business development, is therefore an important aspect of the job.
Workload
As our cruise ships can be in port longer than normal working hours, and every day of the week; work outside normal business hours and overtime are to be expected to some extent.

Ability to act independently, both when dealing with operational and administrative tasks
Pro-activeness, efficiency and desire to take on responsibility
Solution-oriented, with problem solving skills, including in hectic times
Communication with a diverse group of people
Remain calm in hectic situations
The right to live and work in Sweden
Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, is a prerequisite
