We are looking for shipping enthusiasts to join our office in Stockholm for a period of 4-6 months, during our busy cruise ship season. The business environment is hands-on and involves daily contact with customers, suppliers, authorities and other business partners. Our Stockholm office primarily handles cruise ship calls. As Shipping Assistant in SDK Shipping you will have the opportunity to develop a broad shipping knowledge by being part of a shipping company with many different business activities. Main tasks: The operational areas of responsibility vary and relates to coordination, handling and clearing of ship calls and large project logistics. Interaction with and service of customers are as well as business development important aspects of taking an active part in ensuring a future growth in our Company. You will be part of the local duty roster and must be prepared to work outside normal business hours. The preferred candidate is able to: •Act independently both when dealing with operational and administrative tasks •Be a team player and walk the extra mile for the business in hectic times •Possess business acumen •See the big picture but never fail to keep focus on the details •Communicate with a diverse group of people •Bring added value to our customers through competent service and by being pro-active and efficient Good communication skills in general as well as communication in Swedish and English, written and spoken, is a prerequisite.
